Lisätiedot:
- The Selokunkku tournament series is making a comeback! You can participate in individual competitions or even all of the spring competitions. Spring competition dates: Sun 25.1., Sat 14.2., Sat 7.3. and Sun 12.4.
Four competitions will be held during the spring. Each competition will be played in one or two groups. Medals will be awarded to the top three players in each group. In addition, a few prizes will be awarded to the best players in each group.
At the end of the final competition, the best performers in two rating groups will be awarded in the tournament series. The best performances are determined based on the total performance rating calculated using a linear formula. The total performance rating is calculated based on the player's three best results in the individual competitions.
The rating groups are determined based on the list of participants in the first competition. A player's rating group is determined based on their rating during the first competition played. In both rating groups of the tournament series, medals will be awarded to the top three players, and the winner will also receive a prize (e.g., a chocolate chess set or a wooden board) and the second and third will receive a book or a small item.
The competitions are open to everyone born in 2006 or later. A maximum of 24 players can participate in each competition, in order of registration. It is also possible to register for all competitions at once.
The competitions are eligible for SELO rating, so a player license is required for those who have played more than 10 rated games.
The participation fee of 20 EUR is paid at the venue either in cash or via MobilePay. During the first competition, it is possible to pay a season fee of 70 EUR, which entitles the player to participate in all spring competitions. The season fee is non-refundable.
